How the process works in practice

Each project follows the same six steps, scaled to fit your needs. A small business website moves through them quickly, while a larger web application spends more time on research and testing.

Why a clear process matters

A website is only useful when it solves a real problem for real visitors. Working through the same steps on every project keeps decisions grounded in your goals instead of guesswork, and it keeps timelines and costs predictable.

How I work with you

You are involved at each stage. I share early sketches, wireframes, and working previews so feedback arrives while changes are still quick and inexpensive to make.

Design and development together

I handle both the design and the code. Layouts are planned with development in mind, so what you approve in the design is what gets built, with fewer handoff problems and no lost details.

Built for speed and search

Every site is responsive, accessible, and fast on mobile. I use clean semantic markup, descriptive page titles, and sensible structure so search engines can understand your pages and people can find them.

Testing before launch

Before anything goes live I test across browsers and screen sizes, check forms and links, and review accessibility basics such as contrast, keyboard navigation, and readable text.

Support after launch

Launch is not the end. I can help with updates, content changes, and improvements, and I review how the site performs so it keeps working for your business as it grows.
